I spent my two days off working on something that I can’t show right now. Well, I could show it, but I want it to come out when it comes out right. That being said, it also killed my drive for Same Apartment #172. I’m getting over that and working on the thing in the little times I’m not working at my paying job and/or sleeping (I had to throw out eating in favor of comicking, but I’m losing weight, so that might work out!).

In the meantime I’ve also gotten the package from the titular Best Girlfriend Ever.

This is the box that that she’s spent so long filling. Bringing things together she combined —

ahem.. as I was saying.. She combined Christmas, Valentines Day, her trip to Walt Disney World and my birthday all into one great package. In all her loving wisdom she sent some things for John (the official writer of Same Apartment) so he wouldn’t feel left out. She’s winning him over nicely. She also gave me and my brother something to fight over.

And believe me when we found out that it’s not only a monkeyman, but also a monkeyman launcher (through some rubber stretchy things), we went nuts. Plus it has a recording of an actual monkey when you launch it, so the cats HATE it. I’m sure we’ll find Bell dragging it off some day, when she can figure out how to get it down from the shelf.

John got a bag of marbles for his birthday (his second set in an ongoing collection I’m sure), and one half of these rad PEZ dispensers she sent along. He can have the polar bear, because penguins can sing.

Did I mention she sent a wonderfully appropriate Vinylmation all the way from Walt Disney World?! I don’t think I did. OHWAITPINTIME!

But in all seriousness, I have to say WHAAHH IT’S A PILLOW WITH A FACE!!

Seriously when I saw this thing, it was face down and I thought it was something cloth, that was wrapped individually. Then when I picked it up, I thought “Hey what is this some kind of sweater or something?” Then when I turned the face up, my mind instantly recalled Joker making fun of that guy who got electrocuted by Batman’s cowl in Dark Knight. Because that is the sound that this thing would make in a Toy Story like world.

So, yeah I haven’t been completely lazy. I’ve just been busy, and procrastinating and also working on a super secret project that may come up in a couple of days.. But all in all the thing you should really be taking from this is that I’ve got the best girl in the world. And if you need any more proof of this look no further from this image.
