Ok, folks. Just so I don't get too many WTF out there, this is an out of continuity strip. And even if it were in continuity, I could still explain:

2) Mort is gay for Picard
3) Posey likes to dress up
4) I couldn't fit Gorey's joke in this one (nah, just kidding)

But then why would I need to explain such things? I don't know.. This comic is poking fun at that oldest past time. Just for poking's sake.
