I’ve been wanting to draw Sweeney for awhile so getting to draw him for a commission was a wonderful task. There you go Leona, your demon barber. I was drawing him from the side, and I thought well why not use some of that vertical space and make him almost dancing. A murder tango if you will. Unfortunately with that mop top of his it almost looks like he stashed an extra arm up his coif. It didn’t look bad, but it was a little odd. I sat there thinking that I ruined a perfectly good picture and then I thought.. A little off is a good thing when you’re talking about our little Fleet Street resident.
