Burying the Hatchet
This has nothing to do with the Mario comic, just a fun idea that came to being when talking with Jon Dobbs, a friend of mine who is into Sonic SatAM in a big way (a VERY big way). He's an eighties freak like me and when we got to talking about our respective favorite video game characters, I got to thinking that now the bitter rivals can be found on the same system (on the same subscription service once the Wii comes out). He immediately latched on to the idea and after a couple of stinkers came up with this. Mario's a little rounder than I usually like to draw him, but it was way better than the other trashed versions.
