Popeye Head Lighting
Popeye is a good guy. I don't care about those people who say he's nothing but a violent brute who just mumbles to himself and hits people for no reason. Popeye in those old Fleischer Studios cartoons was a moral character, even when the people around him weren't. Olive Oyl constantly left him for someone better, namely Bluto, who if he wasn't a total bully, then he was at least a gentlemanly jerk. Even Wimpy was a mooch and even beat Popeye with a table just to secure his beloved hamburgers. The reimagining here is of Popeye in a Sin City type world. Popeye is walking down a jail corridor to his cell after he beat Bluto worse than ever in their ultimate fight. It was the only thing he could do, now Bluto will never hurt Olive again. He may never see freedom again, but now at least his girl is finally safe.
