Happy New Year 2006
This was a quick picture to mark the beginning of the new year, something I do almost every year. This one involved a real background picture of fireworks. That's the part I love about New Years and the Fourth of July. It usually involves going with friends and shooting a couple off and just messing around and eventually watching a big display. My favorite one was while I was working at Disney in the College Internship. There had to be a thousand people in that giant circle in front of the Hat at MGM Studios. They had a musical fireworks presentation with selections from movies. To see the Shout song from Animal House done with a crowd of a thousand getting down low was a surreal experience.
